William Grant Harrison, age 67 of Mendon, passed away on December 28, 2023 after battling a long illness.  He was born on November 26, 1956 in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI the son of Everett and Shirley (Holmes) Harrison.  William was a lifetime employee with General Motors, working in the Detroit area before moving to Mendon.  He would marry Kathy Hamilton and together they would have three children, they were later divorced.  William was a simple guy.  He loved being on the water, whether it was fishing in tournaments, boating, or just enjoying the quiet time in nature.  In his younger years, William was a State Champion Power Lifter and held a few records for his talents.  Most importantly, he loved his family, especially being called "Pop" by his wonderful grandchildren.

William is survived by his father and step mother, Everett and Marsha Harrison; three children, Melanie (T.J.) Reed of Centreville, Ben (Nicci) Harrison of Portage, and Adam "Moose" (Kristan) Harrison of Three Rivers; four grandchildren, Lena Reed, Pete Reed, Lisa Reed, and Tina Reed; close nephew Joe (Sara) Smith and close niece Miranda (Scott) Mattox; five siblings, Paulette (David) Peltan, John (Rebecca) Harrison, Joy (Dale) Fiorello, Gail (Joe) Smith, and Donald (Tracy) Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley.
