Tyler Michael Southworth, age 25 of Mendon died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Wednesday Feb. 24, 2016.

Tyler was born in Kalamazoo on April 2, 1990 the son of Michael and Kathy (Pakiela) Southworth and has been a lifetime resident of Mendon. He graduated from Mendon High School in 2008 and earned his Associates Degree at Kellogg Community College. Tyler was currently employed at Ronningen Research & Development in Vicksburg. Tyler was a big man with a big heart. He enjoyed making videos and playing video games, playing the bass guitar, and will always be remembered for his sense of humor.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Mike and Kathy Southworth of Mendon; his sister, Kylie Southworth of Portage; paternal grandfather, Dale R. Southworth of Jekyll Island, GA; maternal grandparents, Robert and Oletta Pakiela of Parchment; aunt, Kara (Scott) Parker; and uncles, James (Vickie) Southworth, Stephen (Amy) Southworth, Robert (Ronda) Pakiela, and John Pakiela; and by several cousins and very special friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Southworth.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday Feb. 29, 2016 at the Crossroads Missionary Church with Rev. Lisa Batten officiating.
