Toshia Maxine Johnson, age 26 of Mendon died Saturday, April 25, 2020 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 4, 1993 in Three Rivers and adopted soon-after by Johnny and Debra (Hart) Johnson and was a lifetime resident of Mendon. She attended the Pathfinder Center in Centreville. She enjoyed movies and playing games, especially Pokemon Hunt. Her favorite foods were fresh fish and Oriental dishes.

Toshia is survived by her parents, Deb and Johnny Johnson of Mendon; six siblings, Jacob Johnson of Kalamazoo, Ryan Johnson of Mendon, Christina Johnson of Three Rivers, Lydia, Dillon, and Avalyn Johnson all of Mendon; three foster-siblings, Danna (Jesse) Millar, Stevie Johnson, and Tyelar Nelson; seven nieces and nephews; two great-nieces; and two uncles and their families.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Lloyd & Clara Hart, and Maxine & Clyde McLaughlin; paternal grandparents, Melba and John Johnson.

Cremation has been conducted. A memorial gathering will take place 1:00 pm Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Reed Riverfront Park in Mendon followed by light refreshments.   Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
