Terry Lee Stitt, age 85 of Three Rivers, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 28, 2026. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 17, 1941 the son of Sam Stitt II and Jewell Zeckzer. Growing up, Terry attended Holton High School. On September 17, 1979 he would marry Shirley “Tody” Shreve in Centreville, MI.

For many years, Terry restored old barns, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and refurbished memories for many families. He was an independent truck driver and raised longhorn cattle. Terry was a member of the Oliver Tractor Association, Moose and Eagles Lodges in Three Rivers, Sturgis Motorcycle Club, and National Rifle Association.

Terry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Tody Stitt; four children; Missy (Dan) Kennedy, Terry (Debbie) Stitt, Tammy (Rob) Wisk, and Todd (Johnna) Stitt; twelve grandchildren; Ashley, Spencer, David, Kelli, Shawn, Bradley, Casey, Megan, Tami, Steve, Chad, and Trevor; fifteen great-grandchildren; Owen, Ryder, Abigail, David, Donna, Maddie, Sophia, Ben, Jensen, Ethan, Rayllen, Lily, Elyjah, Zandyr, and Ty; four siblings; Bert Stitt, Lea Antoinettes, Sam Stitt, and Esther Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended families. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Sam and Jewell Stitt; five siblings; Patrick Stitt, Ron Stitt, Karon Schwartz, Nancy Miller, and Mike Stitt; and his stepson, Tyler Ruggles.

Visitation for Terry will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 10am until 12pm, with funeral services beginning at 12pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home (311 W Main St., Mendon, MI 49072).
