Terry Dale Nieman, Sr., age 64 of Sturgis, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Alma, Michigan on May 1, 1954 the son of Dale George Nieman and Elva Jane (Witting) Nieman. He was a longtime builder of recreational vehicles in northern Indiana, building boats in LaPorte and JAYCO Campers in Middlebury. He was also a truck driver for ten years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Terry was married to Judy Ann Vance on March 31, 2000. She survives along with a daughter, Jenny (Ryder) Tinkey of Cromwell, IN; sons, Terry Dale Nieman, Jr. of North Webster, IN. Mark Fugate of Sturgis, Allen Fugate of Michigan City, IN, Johnny (Cheryl) Fugate of Ocala, FL, Kenny Lee (Ashley) Rozinski of Sturgis, and Hayden Lee Rozinski of Sturgis; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Duane Nieman of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Jerry (Beth) Nieman of Lexington, VA; sisters, Maryanne Nieman of Burr Oak, Nancy (Ollie) Black of Constantine, and Sue (Mike) Swan of Sturgis; six nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
