Teresa Marie Buehlman, age 59 of Leonidas, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo following a brief illness. She was born in Vicksburg on June 1, 1959 the daughter of Merle E. and Betty L. (Thomas) Heath. She attended Colon Schools and later received her GED from Centreville High School. Teresa was married to Ronald K. Buehlman on Oct. 28, 1978 in Leonidas. Teresa was a homemaker who also worked at CJ's General Store and Lil' Jens in Leonidas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling to garage sales with her sister.

Teresa is survived by two sons, Brandon (Ariel) Buehlman and Kyle Buehlman both of Leonidas; four grandchildren, Harlee, Hunter, and Haiden Buehlman and EJ Schwemer; her sister, Tina Heath of Colon; brother, Roger (Marcia) Heath of Mendon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ron; and sisters, Peggy Roberts and Mary Lynn Wiard.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 pm Saturday January 5, 2019 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Memorials services will begin at 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor David Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Leonidas Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to the family.
