Sheila Ann
Spealman
Apr 17, 1937 — Feb 6, 2026
Sheila Ann (Moored) Spealman, age 88, of Scotts, Michigan, passed away on February 6, 2026 at her home, after a life richly devoted to family, faith, and service to others.
Sheila was born on April 17, 1937, in Hastings, Michigan, to Grace (Marble) Moored and Forrest Moored. She later made her home in Scotts, where she built a life centered on love, generosity, and deep connections with those around her.
She was married to the love of her life, Max Spealman, for 63 years before his passing. Sheila was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Spealman, her sister, Phyllis (Moored) Minnis, and many close in-laws.
Sheila is survived by her daughters, Judy (Andrew) Radtke and Janice Glenn; foreign exchange student who became a son, Marcus Lucena; her grandchildren, Kristen (Joey) Hall, Melissa (Brent) Wheat, Douglas (Piper) Radtke, Karrie Glenn, and Jeremy Radtke; her great-grandchildren, Job (Kenia) Hall, Zachary Wheat, Silas Hall, Reagan Wheat, Maxxwell Glenn, Sophie Hall, Corban Radtke, Declan Radtke, Evan Wheat, and Adelaide Radtke; and her great-great-grandchildren, Luka Hall and Eloise Hall; and many extended families and in-laws.
Sheila spent many years working at Upjohn, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, she found great joy in RV camping, golfing, and sewing. Above all, she cherished time with her family.
Her deep faith and devotion to Jesus guided her life and shaped the way she loved others. Those who knew Sheila will remember her as loving and kind—someone who never met a stranger and was endlessly generous with her time and talents. Her warmth and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Visitation for Sheila will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2pm until 5pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home (311 W Main St., Mendon, MI 49072). Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11am (visitation from 10am until 11am) at Crossroads Missionary Church (22605 M-60, Mendon, MI 49072) with Pastor Bryan Balasa officiating.
