Sharon Louise Elliott, age 74 of Three Rivers, died Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Three Rivers Health Emergency Room.  She was born in Vicksburg, Michigan on September 15, 1948 the daughter of Maurice E. and Letha L. (Collins) Goertler and was a lifetime resident of St. Joseph County. She graduated from Colon High School with the class of 1967. She then went to work at the Haas Corporation and later Lear Plastics for over 40 years.  She was a member of UAW Local 503, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the former Methodist Church in Leonidas.  She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and boating on Lake Michigan, and family events.

Sharon is survived by two nieces, Monica Hoard of Fremont, IN and Faith Goertler of Manchester, TN; nephew, Robert Goertler of Three Rivers; great-nephews, Austin Goertler, Zachary Solis, and Cody Draime; great-nieces, Brianna McDonald and Kayla Hoard; two great-great nephews, Colton Underwood and Benjamyn Underwood.  She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Brian; brother, Robert Goertler; sister, Nancy Kline; and companion, David Swartz, Sr.

Cremation has been conducted.  A memorial service will be held later this Spring with interment in Leonidas Cemetery.  It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to ARF, Animal Rescue Fund, 20579 Roys Rd.
