Ruby Marie Langan, age 89 of Three Rivers died Thursday Jan. 16, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers. She was born in Homer, Michigan on Nov. 9, 1924 the daughter of the late Amos G. and Hazel (Blodgett) Hamilton.

Ruby was married to Robert Basil Langan on Feb. 12, 1944 in Tampa, Florida. They later resided in Marshall, Michigan and Cleveland, Ohio before retiring to Mendon in 1979. Ruby was a homemaker who also worked as a secretary in the pharmaceutical industry.

Ruby is survived by a daughter, Carol Rhodes of Kalamazoo; a son, John Langan of San Francisco; and a grandson, Monte Rhodes of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2009; a son, Michael; and a grandson, Joe.

Cremation has been conducted. A private interment of ashes will take place later at fort custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. An online register is available and condolences may be left for the family at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com
