Ronald Leroy Heath, age 66, formerly of Mendon died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at the SONA Adult Foster Care Home in Three Rivers. He was born in Colon, MI on June 10, 1952 the son of Harry and Wava (Purdy) Heath and was a lifetime resident of southwest Michigan. He attended Mendon Elementary and graduated from Three Rivers High School. Ron worked at Lear Plastics in Mendon, ARCH Workshop in Sturgis, and the Big Boy Restaurant in Three Rivers. Ron was a quiet, sentimental man with a heart of gold. While he avoided crowds, he loved small gatherings with family and friends. He was a sports fan, and always looked forward to watching the Spartans of Michigan State University.

Ron is survived by a sister, Linda Radloff of Mendon; his twin brother, Donald "Big Al" Heath of Mendon his little brother, Terry (Jo) Heath of Vicksburg; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a sister, Janice Searer.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been conducted and a private interment will take place later in Leonidas Cemetery. It is suggested that memorial donations be directed to St. Joseph County Community Mental Health and his family is grateful for their support over the years.
