Ronald Keith Buehlman, age 58 of Leonidas died Tuesday Sep. 18, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born in Cook County, Illinois on July 30, 1954 the son of the late Ronald F. and Joan C. (Schultz) Buehlman. The family moved to Leonidas in the early '70s and Ron attended Colon Schools. He had been employed at Bronson Plastics, and later by LTI Printing in Sturgis. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.

Ron was married to Teresa Heath on Oct. 28, 1978 in Leonidas. She survives along with two sons, Brandon (Sara Aguilera) Buehlman of White Pigeon and Kyle Buehlman of Leonidas; an unborn grandson, E.J. Hunter Cole Buehlman; one sister, Jeanne (Dan) Hall of Mendon; three brothers, Richard (Sheila) Buehlman of Grand Rapids, Roger Buehlman and Robert Buehlman both of South Bend.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday Sep. 22, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. David Stevens, Pastor of the Leonidas Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Leonidas Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to the family to help with expenses.
