Richard Clayton "Rick" Woods, age 62 of rural Three Rivers died Thursday March 23, 2017 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Vicksburg, MI on Nov. 17, 1953 the son of Frederick H. and Elizabeth (Dokey) Woods and has been a lifetime resident of the area. Rick graduated from Mendon High School in 1972 and then joined the U.S. Navy. He had been employed at Nagel's Glad Farm in Three Rivers, Gray Brothers Stamping in White Pigeon, and Milburn Peat Company of Three Rivers.

Rick is survived by a daughter, Amy (Shane) Mikel of Mendon; five grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Jay) Crabtree of Three Rivers and Deb (Frank) Cerny of Leonidas; two brothers, Joseph Woods of Three Rivers and Bill (Shirley) Woods of Centreville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sandra Dentler and Pam Dare; and a brother, Frederick A. Woods.
