Patricia Elaine Swank, age 75 of Sherwood died Monday Feb. 16, 2015 at her winter home in Zolfo Springs, Florida. She was born in Battle Creek, MI on March 12, 1939 the daughter of Clark and Ethel (Blowers) Lewis. After graduating from Athens High School, she was married to Richard Swank on March 21, 1959 in Cassopolis, MI. They resided in Dowagiac and briefly in Kansas, before returning to Sherwood in 1976. Patricia worked at Imperial Bedding for several years, and later was a bank teller, retiring from Old Kent Bank in Athens. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking for her family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons, Keith (Colleen) Swank and Kevin Swank; three grandchildren, Taylor, Trenton, and Teasha Swank all of Athens; three sisters, Lenna Posey, Margaret Rumsey, and Janice Lewis; two brothers, Norman Lewis and Roger Lewis; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Leslie Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 12:30 PM Saturday March 28, 2015 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
