Morgan Leah Jones, age 38 of Kalamazoo, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice following a two-year illness. She was born in Kalamazoo on March 9, 1982 the daughter of William H. and Sherry (King) Jones and was a lifetime resident of Southwest Michigan. She graduated from Mendon High School with the Class of 2000, and later graduated from Wright Beauty Academy in Battle Creek. Morgan worked as a beautician at Regis in Battle Creek, Mia & Maxx in Kalamazoo, and retired due to declining health from Regis in Kalamazoo. Morgan loved family events, recreation on Fishers Lake, trips to Florida, shopping trips, and collecting Air-Jordan shoes.
Morgan is survived by two daughters, Alicia Arnold and Adria Jones both of Kalamazoo; grandson, David Williams, Jr.; parents, Sherry (Marty) Sikorski of Bronson and Casey (Kathy) Jones of Schoolcraft; sister, Emily (Aaron) Craft – and their children Marcus, Zoe, Jaycee, and Nevee of Mendon; brother, Bryan Jones of Rochester; step-brother, Kyle (Jo) Bainbridge -and their daughter Daci Funaro of Grand Rapids; step-sister Ashley (Brett) Foster -and their children, Lane and Grace of Grand Rapids; maternal grandmother, Carol King of Three Rivers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Derek Jones; maternal grandfather, Ron King; and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Bessie Jones.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. Memorial donations will be directed to the family. The family was assisted by the Eickhoff Funeral Home of Mendon. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com
UPDATE: A celebration of Morgan's life will take place at the King residence, 19520 Thompson Lane, Three Rivers, MI 49093 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021. Eulogies and happy memories will be shared at 3:30 pm.
