Milford “O’Dell” Lambert, age 79 of Three Rivers passed away on September 25, 2026 at Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital. He was born on July 6, 1947 in Tazewell, TN to Moses Garrett Lambert and Winnie Keaton-Haynes-Lambert. He accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized at a young age. He attended 12th Street Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, MI. He attended Claiborne County High in Tazewell, TN. He was united in marriage on October 23, 1966 to the love of his life and best friend, Quillian Massengill.

He moved to Monroe, MI in 1966 working at Ford Motor Co. in Woodhaven, MI. Later in 1980 moving his family to Three Rivers to work at Hydra-Matic and American Axle before transferring to Delphi in Adrian, MI in 1998 where he retired from in 2003. He also owned and operated Lambert Janitorial Service for over 40 years. He enjoyed loving and providing for his family, camping, fishing, reading, lawn work, gardening, and helping with canning, and his pets – whom he spoiled with treats, and attending church services.

O’Dell was preceded in death by his parents and three half-brothers; Frank, Charles, and Hollis Haynes. Remaining to cherish his memories, his wife of almost 60 years, Quillian Lambert; his children; Autumn (Don) Lewis of Schoolcraft, MI, Adam (Bernice) Lambert of Three Rivers, MI, and Amy (Delvon) Parker of Framingham, MA; grandchildren; Tori, Tyler, and Tia Lambert, Alexandria Lewis, Camryn, Devon, and Drew Parker; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation for O’Dell will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 12pm until 2pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home (311 W Main St. Mendon, MI 49072) with funeral services beginning at 2pm with Pastor Thad Stout officiating. At a later date, burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Harrogate, TN with the assistance of the Coffey Funeral Home.
