Mary Maureen Lovell, age 61 of Mendon, passed away at her home on October 5, 2024 surrounded by her family after battling a long illness.  She was born in Sturgis, MI on August 9, 1963 the daughter of Philip and Maureen (Carkenord) Cupp.  Mary attended Mendon High School and was part of the 1982 graduating class.  Mary was known for her hard work ethic and dedication; if she wasn't attending a family function or a sporting event, she was often found at American Axle hard at work.  In her limited free time, Mary enjoyed the simple things in life, such as reading mystery and romance novels that she shared and traded with her mom.  Mary loved going to Panama City Beach with her entire family and enjoying the sun and much needed family time, all while listening to some good country music.  She was a caring, family-oriented individual who cherished every minute with those closest to her; and always made sure to make it to the annual Cupp Camp at her parents.  Mary's children and all of their endeavors is what she loved the most, including her grand-pup Harper.

Mary is survived by her three children; Justin (Sucharita Ray) Barnes, Amanda (Josh) Rubley, and Hunter Lovell; her mother Maureen Cupp; eleven siblings; Susan Vrobel, Phyllis Cupp, Judy (Mike) Skrypek, Roger Cupp, Jill (Dune) Batten, Jannette (Tony) Campbell, Rodney (Donna) Cupp, Doug Cupp, Jayne (Fred) Medich, Patty (Glen) Samson, and Greg (Amy) Cupp; brother-in-law Don Saunders; and MANY nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father Phil Cupp; sister Christine Saunders; and brother-in-law Mike Vrobel.

Visitation for Mary will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home (311 W Main St, Mendon, MI 49072) from 10am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm / 6pm - 8pm.  A funeral mass for Mary will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at St Edward Catholic Church (332 W State St, Mendon, MI 49072) at 12pm with Msgr. Thomas Martin officiating.  Following the mass, cremation will be conducted.  Memorials and donations in Mary's name may be made to the family; checks made out to Amanda Rubley.  Condolences and memories may be expressed to the family at eickhofffuneralhome.com.
