Mary Olney Anderson, MD, age 77 of Leonidas, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at The Fountains of Bronson Place where she had resided the past year.  She was born in Leonidas on January 24, 1944 the daughter of the late William Harold Olney and Mary Elizabeth (Pattison) Olney.  After graduation from Colon High School, she attended the University of Michigan Medical School, graduating in 1968.  She was a board-certified Family Practice Physician.  She conducted her family practice from her clinic in Leonidas for more than twenty years before taking a position on the Disability Review Board for the State of Michigan. Following retirement she enjoyed reading, needlework, and gardening.

Mary was married to R. Douglas Anderson on May 14, 1966 in Ann Arbor.  He survives along with three children; three grandchildren; and two sisters.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted.
