Lois D. Fox, age 79 of Mendon met her Lord and Savior and joined her husband and son on Monday Nov. 30, 2015. She was born in Battle Creek on March 6, 1936 the daughter of Leonard and Beatrice (Brown) Wines. Lois was a graduate of Three Rivers High School. She was married to Russell Fox on June 4, 1966 in Battle Creek, and they moved to Mendon in 1967. Lois worked in home health care for several years and in local factories. She attended Riverside Church in Three Rivers. Lois enjoyed reading, crocheting, and trips to the casinos. She especially loved family gatherings and cooking for her family.

Lois is survived by 4 daughters, Debbie (Bob) Wortinger of Mendon, Cindy (James) Jacobs of Sturgis, Beatrice (Mark) Finkey of Colon, and Mary Stafford of Mendon; 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 on the way; a brother, Rufus (Flora) Wines; sisters in law, Candy Wines and Deloris Wines; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; son Dwight Douglas; son in law, Barry Ivie; granddaughter, Jenny Loker; and 6 brothers, Peter, Charles, Norman, William, and Clifford Wines, and her twin brother, Louis Wines.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday Dec. 4, 2015 at the funeral home followed by burial in Lakeside Cemetery in Colon Township. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
