LeRoy Ernest Newton, age 44, of Marcellus, died Saturday April 6, 2019 at the Three Rivers Health Emergency Room. He was born in Kalamazoo on June 2, 1974 and was a lifetime resident of southwest Michigan. LeRoy graduated from White Pigeon High School in 1992, and had been employed at Reese Products as a fork lift operator. He enjoyed working on his customized truck, kayaking and fishing. He especially enjoyed cooking for his family.

LeRoy is survived by his parents, Bever-Lee and Robert Potter of Marcellus; two children, Kasey Chartrand of Howe and Seth (Crystal) Coleman of Elkhart; two grandchildren, Regan Leeann Shepherd and Jace Baker; brother, Christopher (Shelby) Newton of Marcellus; and nephew, Cameron Newton.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been conducted. Funeral services and a time of sharing your thoughts and memories of LeRoy will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon.
