Judith Ann Cross, age 56 of Deltona, Florida, died Friday March 16, 2012 at Halifax Health of Volusia/Flagler Care Center. She was born in Three Rivers on Feb. 29, 1956 and was 1 of only 3 babies born there on leap year in 1956. Judith moved to Florida in 1992 from Mendon and was a payroll clerk for the Volusia County School Board for the past 16 years. Judith's hobbies include making felt Christmas stockings, and reading, especially Danielle Steele and Nicholas Sparks novels. She enjoyed watching birds, especially hummingbirds, and watching movies on the Hallmark Channel. She loved irises and roses and anything purple.

Judith is survived by her mother, Sarah Cross of Mendon; son, Keith Cross of Deltona, FL; daughter Melisa (Nathan) McKay of Centreville; 5 grandchildren, Ashley (Dalton) Reinbold, Heather McKay, Kyle (Tiffany) McKay, Brooke McKay, and Travis McKay; 5 great-grandchildren, Kahle Reinbold, Braydon Reinbold, Chevy Reinbold, Keegan McKay, and Cayden McKay; brothers, Jeffrey (Cindy) Cross of Ft. Pierce, FL and William (Nancy) Cross of Mendon; sister, Janice Cross of Christmas, FL; 10 nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Amos Cross in April of 2011.

Cremation has been conducted in Florida. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon with Pastor Gene French officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
