Joyce Catherine Keller, age 75 of Three Rivers died Wednesday Aug. 31, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born in Chicago on April 15, 1941 the daughter of William F. and Catherine (Callopy) Schabes. As a girl the family resided in Mendon before returning to Chicago. She was married to Wayne Sill, Sr. in 1962. He died in 1970, and she returned to Michigan. She was married to Henry Keller in 1979 and they were later divorced. Joyce was a homemaker, who also worked as a bartender at the former Beehive in Three Rivers. She enjoyed watching old movies, crime shows, and game shows on TV.

Joyce is survived by four children, Wayne Sill, Jr of Kalamazoo, Mark Sill of Battle Creek, Debra Mains and Christine Mongar both of Holland; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Schabes of Sturgis; sister in law, Barbara Mitchell; brother in law, Eldon Jackson; and special friend, Darla Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joanne Jackson and Carol Ann McCarroll; two brothers, Jack Schabes and Bill Schabes; and a grandson, Glen Sill.

A memorial service will be 11 am Wednesday Sep. 7, 2016 at the Crossroads Missionary Church, 22605 M-60, Mendon with Pastor Bryan Balasa officiating. Interment will take place in Mendon Cemetery, followed by a gathering back at the church. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
