Gerald J. Lake, age 82 of Battle Creek, died Friday, July 30, 2021 at Medilodge in Marshall.  He was born in Stockbridge, MI on April 16, 1939 the son of Joseph and Helen (Hamlin) Lake. He graduated from Vandercook Lake High School where he was active in all sports, and later earned his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University.  Gerald was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Air National Guard.  He was in sales for many years in the telecommunications industry, working for Northern Telecom and Reliable Electric.

Gerald is survived by a son, Joseph Lake of Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolores; sister, Joan Lake; and daughter in law, Julie Lakes.
