Fredrick Albert Woods, age 58 of Three Rivers died Thursday April 11, 2013 at his home. He was born in Vicksburg on Dec. 18, 1954 the son of Frederick and Elizabeth (Dokey) Woods, and attended Mendon Schools. Fred along with his father were independent carpet layers. He enjoyed fishing and mushrooming, and collecting small antiques.

Fred is survived by his father, Frederick Woods of Three Rivers; four children, Deanne (Josh Lucas) Woods of Hillsboro, OR, Justin (Amy) Woods and Cody Woods both of Colorado Springs, CO; Robbie Guthrie of Three Rivers; a granddaughter, Nicole Woods; his former companion, Debbie Downer of Colorado Springs, CO; five siblings, Linda (Jay) Crabtree of Three Rivers, Deb (Frank) Cerny of Leonidas, Rick Woods and Joe Woods both of Three Rivers; and Bill (Shirley) Woods of Centreville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth; a son, Jason; and by two sisters, Sandra Dentler and Pam Dare.

Cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday April 16, 2013 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon with Nancy Boyd officiating.
