Fernando Moreno, III age 36 of Coldwater, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.  He was born in Houston, TX on December 6, 1985 to Fernando Moreno Jr and Mary J. Sanchez.  In 2009 he was married to Rebecca Leger; they were later divorced.  Fernando was a marketer and promoter in the food industry across the country.  He also was a bartender and a budtender.  Fernando loved the Houston life.  He enjoyed drawing and photography.  He loved to cook.  hiking trails and traveling the country.  Most importantly, he loved his family.

Fernando is survived by his parents; Fernando, Jr (Melissa) Moreno of Mendon, MI and Mary J Sanchez of Houston, TX.  Four children; Josi M. Moreno, Fina B. Leger, Ariah L. Leger-Moreno, and Charli D. Leger-Moreno.  Paternal grandmother Marie M. Moreno of Houston, TX.  Grandson Liam J. Moreno.  Five siblings; Craig A. Ortega, David A. Ortega, Grace M. Moreno, Dalila R. Moreno, and Anthony T. Moreno.  And many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Fernando was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Fernando Moreno, Sr.

In keeping with family wishes cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held in Houston, TX at a later date.  It is suggested that donation and contributions be made to the family in care of Eickhoff Funeral Home.  Condolences and memories may be expressed to the family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
