Edward A. "Eddie" Watts, age 73 died January 30, 2016 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born in Climax, MI on Feb. 13, 1942 the son of Edward and Mable (Selman) Watts. They moved to Fulton in 1944 where he attended Fulton Elementary School. He has resided in Kalamazoo for most of his adult life, and for the past four years at Pine Valley Adult Foster Care. He had been employed at the Red Cross, Pizza Hut, and Godfather's Pizza. Eddie always looked forward to his birthday celebrations, and home cooked meals at his sister, Betty's home in Leonidas.
Eddie will be missed by his friends and family, which includes his sister, Betty McClish of Leonidas; niece, Becky (Dennis) Jackson and their children, Christopher and Allison of Three Rivers; half-brother, Leroy Lucas of Costa Mesa, CA; and half-sister, Joyce Stiles of Young Harris, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in law, Robert McClish; half-sisters, Wilma Antes and Vivin Kay Duprise; and half-brother, Robert Lucas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Leonidas Baptist Church, 26491 M-60, Leonidas, MI 49066 with Pastor David Stevens officiating, followed by a social gathering at the church.
