Duanne Brent "Frenchie" Albright, age 88 of Mendon, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on Dec. 3, 1931 the son of Jess R. and Betty J. (Snyder) Albright. He graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo, and then joined the US Navy. He was married to Jantina Hamminga on June 18, 1954 in Three Rivers and they made their home in Mendon. Duanne worked for G-W Pizza in Mendon, Kline Construction, and Reith-Riley Construction where he retired after 18 years of employment. He then did work for Swiss Valley Ski Resort.

Duanne is survived by four children and their spouses, Dianne (Aaron) Hemming of Interlochen, Duanne (Joy) Albright of Elk Rapids, Darlene (Mike) Schmidt of Charlevoix, and Jerry Albright of Kewadin; six grandchildren, Brent, Ashley, Mersadz, MeeShann, T.J., and Teresa; three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tina; two sisters, Connie Lee Gasaway and Betty Sroga; and a brother, Ralph Albright.
