Donald William Keith, age 86, of White Pigeon, MI, passed away on September 25, 2026, at Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital after a brief illness. Born on March 16, 1940, in Three Rivers, MI, Donald was the son of William and Myrtle (Califf) Keith. A proud graduate of Mendon High School's class of 1958, Donald went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy.

Donald cherished his fishing trips and found peace in nature's tranquility. A skilled tinkerer, particularly with computers, he enjoyed taking them apart and rebuilding them to his liking. He also loved playing games like dominos, solitaire, and mahjong. Known for his exceptional organizational skills, he created intricate systems for everyday activities. His passion for trying new recipes often led to memorable experiences at the store.

He was an active member of the Shriners and Masons, contributing to children's medical care. Donald held the staff at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center in high regard for their support to veterans. A simple man at heart, he enjoyed listening to Hank Williams, Sr., driving semi-trucks, and watching John Wayne movies.

Donald is survived by his children, Barbara (John) Rowgo, Michael (Katherine) Keith, and Susie (Pat Stevens) Keith; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings JoAnn Wilson and Tim (Pam) Keith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William “Bill” Keith.
