Devona Wells, age 94 of Three Rivers died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born in Three Rivers on July 25, 1928 the daughter of Russell and Hazel (Tullis) Rader and was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers.  After graduating from Three Rivers High School, she was married to Dana H. Wells on March 26, 1950 in Tawas City, Michigan. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, card-playing, and family gatherings.

Devona is survived by nine children, Larry David (Kathy) Wells of Caledonia, Timothy Steven (Mary) Wells of Holt, Gail Lynn (Donald) Happel of Ozark, AL, Dennis Franklin (Marti) Wells of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Jeffery Lee Wells of Portage, Judy Kay (Jim) Ruggles of Three Rivers, Christina Susan Wells of Colon, Patricia Karen (Charles Blowers) Murdick of Three Rivers, and Amy Elizabeth (Stephen) Southworth of Parma; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dana; and by eight siblings.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, January 13, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Booko of Riverside Church officiating. Burial will be in Moorepark Cemetery.
