Dana H. Wells, age 93 of Three Rivers, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at Edgewood Nursing Home in Three Rivers. He was born in Three Rivers on Jan. 27, 1928 the son of William F. and Mabel (Koennneker) Wells and was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. After graduation from Three Rivers High School, he was employed at the family business, W.F. Wells until his retirement. He was a pilot and member of the Civil Air Patrol. He engaged in farming, and enjoyed horses and restoring antique tractors. He also enjoyed motorcycle trips, and loved spending time with his family.

Dana was married to Devona Rader in Tawas City on March 26, 1950. She survives along with nine children, Larry David (Kathy) Wells of Caledonia, Timothy Steven (Mary) Wells of Holt, Gail Lynn (Donald) Happel of Sturgis, Dennis Franklin (Marti) Wells of Wisconsin Rapids, Jeffrey Lee Wells of Portage, Judy Kay (Jim) Ruggles of Three Rivers, Christina Susan Wells of Colon, Patricia Kay Murdick of Three Rivers, and Amy Elizabeth (Stephen) Southworth of Parma; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lane Wells and Jan (Arlene) Wells; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kathy; and a brother, Dale.

A family funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon followed by burial in Moorepark Cemetery, with Rev. Heather McDougall, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Three Rivers officiating. A recording of the service will be available on the funeral home website later in the day.
