Connie M Pifer, age 60 of Shelbyville, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2024 at U of M West in Wyoming, MI.  She was born in Goshen, IN on July 19, 1963 the daughter of James and Linda (Mock) Pifer.  Connie was employed at Parker – Hannifin for over 20 years.  In her free time, Connie enjoyed taking fishing trips to Gun Lake and camping at St. Helen and Sand Lake.  She was often seen at the drag races in Wayland and Martin.  Connie loved being involved with her local church, helping those that were in need.  Most importantly, she loved her children.

Connie is survived by her five children; Michael Janczewski, Shannon Hyndman, Hope Pifer, Hailey Pifer, and Hayes Pifer; five grandchildren, one grandchild on the way, and one great-grandchild on the way; two siblings; Cathy (Joe) Zinsmaster and Carrie Pifer.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Linda Pifer.

In keeping with family wishes, cremation is being conducted.  Visitation will take place for Connie and her family on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 11am until 1pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home (311 West Main Street, Mendon, MI 49072).  A private interment of ashes will take place at a later date.  It is suggested that memorials and donations be made out to the family.  Condolences and memories may be expressed to the family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
