Connie Rose Outman, age 63 of Leonidas, died suddenly on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Sturgis, MI on March 20, 1959 the daughter of the late Lyle P. and Rosemary E. (Barnabee) Outman.  She was a member of the Colon High School class of 1977, resided briefly in Steamboat Springs, Colorado before returning to Leonidas.  She worked at Ronningen Research and Development in Vicksburg, and most recently at Sturgis Molded Products where she met her longtime companion, Fritz Deustch.  After Fritz's passing, Connie joined the Catholic Church at attended St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon. Connie was a compassionate caregiver of family members when needed.  She enjoyed collecting antiques and tending to her chickens.  Her favorite activity was hanging out with her granddaughter Harley.

Connie is survived by her son, Joshua (Amber) Outman of Leonidas; three grandchildren, Harley Outman, Claire Haskins, and Waylon Outman; two sisters, Kathryn Outman of Battle Creek and Debbie (Jerry) Adams of Leonidas; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will be conducted. A funeral mass for Connie Outman will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon with Monsignor Thomas Martin officiating.
