Cecil Bryant Everett, age 58 died Friday Jan. 4, 2013 at Fairview Nursing and Rehab in Centreville. He was born in Battle Creek, MI on Oct. 1, 1954 the son of Otto William Everett and Sylvia (Kline) Everett. He attended Mendon Elementary School and graduated from Vicksburg High School.
Cecil had worked for Peters Construction in Kalamazoo, Starks Excavating in Three Rivers, Fritz Farms in Fulton, and Kauffman Farms in Mendon. He enjoyed coon and coyote hunting, fishing, and shooting pool in his spare time.
Cecil is survived by his mother, Sylvia Everett; two brothers, O'Dell "Mack" Everett and Phillip "Smoke" Everett; his former wife, Paula (Shug) Goodson; step-children, Angela Campbell, Paulette Davis, Lorie Hessler, and Rocky Goodson; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday June 8, 2013 at the Water Tower Park on North Nottawa Street in Mendon with David Farrell officiating. A private scattering of his ashes will take place later. Condolences may be left for the family at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com
