Carol Ann Jackson, age 87, passed away in Nottawa, Michigan on August 28, 2026.  Carol was born April 12, 1939, at her Grandfather Laws home in Sturgis to Harry F. Laws II and Betty A. (Wheeler) Laws. She was adopted by her maternal Grandparents during childhood thus assuming the Wheeler surname. 

She graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1957.  In 1987, she married the love of her life, Gordon "Brock" Jackson in Hawaii. They spent several years working together in Maui HI, later settling in Lakewood California.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Brock, parents and grandparents. She is survived by her brothers Dr. Harry Laws III, George Laws, Stanley Eldridge Jr., sister Susan Gelderbloom (Laws) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Although she was a "California Girl", she always drove back to Michigan every summer (with her cats) to enjoy her time at Sand Lake in Nottawa. She loved to country line dance at Cowboy Up, Clogging, playing tennis and floating in Sand Lake.
