Brenda Lynn Moyer, age 48 of Colon died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo following a long illness. She was born in Three Rivers, MI on Dec. 13, 1968 the daughter of David F. and Donna M. (Franks) Moyer. She attended Colon Schools, and had been employed at Precision Wire Forms in Three Rivers. Brenda enjoyed crocheting, rock music, gardening, fishing, the great outdoors, cook-outs, and her many pets.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Donna Moyer of Leonidas; her companion, Robert Westfield of Colon; her daughter, Sonya (Shan Nelson) Moyer of Colon; granddaughter, Emily Collins; grandson, Logan Nelson; 2 sisters, Linda Moyer of Leonidas and Christine (James) Dunbar of Sherwood; brother, David Wayne Moyer of Leonidas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, David Franklin Moyer in 2016.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Factoryville Bible Church, 33650 Factoryville Road, Athens, MI 49011. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon at the church with Pastor Fred Goebert officiating. Burial will follow in Factoryville Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to the family.
