Brad Eugene Yeomans, age 66 of Mendon, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021 at his home. He was born in Vicksburg, MI on Oct. 9, 1`954 the son of the late Vernon "Speed" and Maxine (Roop) Yeomans and was a lifetime resident of Mendon. He graduated from Mendon High School with the Class of 1972, and later earned his Associate's Degree from Glen Oaks Community College. Brad began work as a millwright at the Haas Corporations in Mendon and retired when it was known as International Automotive Corp. (IAC).
Brad loved riding motorcycles and traveling to local events. He looked forward to playing pool and card tournaments at the casino. He was an avid reader, and had a special appreciation for the wildlife surrounding his rural home.
Brad is survived by his brother, Brian (Julie) Yeomans of Mesick; seven nieces and nephews, Robert (Sara) Yeomans, Ryan (Kathleen) Yeomans, Lindsey (Matt) Stanke, Lauren (Lance) Fulsher, Kathleen (Eric) Spencer, Anthony (Renee) Robinson, and Kellie Robinson; several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Masks and distancing will be observed. A family funeral service will be 12 noon at the funeral home with Rev. Clint Zehr officiating followed by interment in Mendon Cemetery. It is suggested that memorial donations be directed to the Mendon Community Schools Foundation, 148 Kirby Road, Mendon, MI 49072.
