Bobby Ray Cleveland age 64 passed away on Tuesday Feb. 19, 2013 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was born on June 10, 1948 in Mount Vernon, Indiana the son of the late John and Florence (Mosley) Cleveland. Bobby graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1967 and then joined the U.S. Navy where he was a Seabee and awarded the Viet Nam service medal.

Bobby was married to Pamela (Arnett) Curtis on Feb. 19, 1977. They moved from Bunnell, Florida to Leonidas, Michigan in April of 2011. Bobby is a retired truck driver. He loved travelling, being outdoors, fishing, boating, tending to his garden, and watching his favorite NASCAR driver, Tony Stewart. Bobby loved hanging out with his kids and grandkids as well as his many brothers and sisters and their families.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Pamela; two sons, Gregory Lee Curtis of Leonidas, Michigan and James Harold Cleveland of Davenport, Florida; two daughters, Kimberly Sue Shapley of Leonidas, Michigan and Malinda Florence Cleveland of Palm Coast, Florida; nine grandchildren; four brothers, John Henry (Wanda) Cleveland of Waterloo, Illinois, James David (Alma) Cleveland of New Carlisle, Ohio, Bill (Sharon) Cleveland of San Bruno, California, and Richard Dale (Cristal) Cleveland of Deltona, Florida; six sisters, Estelle (Bill) Casey of Deleon Springs, Florida, Bonnie (Randy) Lake of Independence, Kentucky, Wanda Jordon of Evansville, Indiana, Ruby (Shane) Gaster) of Deland, Florida, Sheila Ainsle of Mount Vernon, Indiana, and Becky Hartman of Newburgh, Indiana; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has been conducted. Memorial services will be 5 p.m. Saturday Feb. 23, 2013 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon with Pastor Jay Bailey of the Three Rivers Bible Church officiating. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard of Great Lakes, Illinois. Memorials will be directed to the family.
