Betsy Mary Thompson, age 73 of Three Rivers, died peacefully at her granddaughter's home in Mendon on Feb. 14, 2022. She was born in Kalamazoo on May 7, 1948 the daughter of the late Nicholas and Emma Jean (Woods) Frumau and was a lifetime resident of Southwest Michigan.  Betsy graduated from Portage Northern High School and later attended Western Michigan University.  She was employed in the offices of the Upjohn Company for over 32 years. She enjoyed bowling in several leagues at Air-Way Lanes in her younger years.  While in failing health the past several, years, she especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betsy was married to Terry J. Thompson on July 22, 1981 in Las Vegas. He survives along with her daughter, Julie (Michael) Lint of Mendon; three grandchildren, Kandace (Eric) Jackson of Mendon, Stephanie (DJ) VanOrden of Kalkaska, and Kyle Stefanich of Kalamazoo; three great-grandchildren, Aubry, Aurora, and Aundraya; two sisters, Elizabeth (Larry) Thompson of Three Rivers and Nikki (Wayne) Fitzgerald of Vicksburg.
